Area girls golfers hit their respective golf courses beginning today as the WIAA Sectional action gets underway.

In the Notre Dame Sectional, sophomore Lydia VandenHouten will be in the second wave with three other individual qualifiers at Thornberry Creek.

Sturgeon Bay will have its entire golf team compete at the Xavier Sectional being held at Ridgeway Country Club. The Clippers' golfers will be spread out evenly between the second and sixth waves.
