Teams from the Packerland Conference will descend on the Chief Kahquados course again Thursday afternoon with a team title on the line.

The Peshtigo boys and Kewaunee girls look to defend their team titles from last year that saw Gibraltar's Evan Henry and Sevastopol's Olivia Stenzel win their respective races. Top-ten runners from last year's conference champions returning this year include Southern Door's Sam Dean and Kewaunee's James Cullen in the boys' race while Stenzel, Southern Door's Lydiah LeCloux, and Kewaunee's Elizabeth Lamack renew their rivalry in the girls' run.

Thursday marks the second time Gibraltar, Southern Door, Kewaunee, Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, and Algoma have tackled the 5K course. First races begin at 3:30 p.m.
