Head Coach Craig Kain is estatic to note Southern Door High School volleyball took 2nd place to Oconto in the Packerland Conference Tournament. Winning the regular season crown and finishing second in the tournament gives the Eagles a shared conference championship. This is the first year in school history, that Southern Door has had or shared a conference championship.
The Eagles had three matches on the day. They won in the quarterfinals and semis in straight sets before falling to Oconto in the championship.
Sevastopol: 25-16, 25-19
Sturgeon Bay: 25-20, 25-19
Oconto: 21-25, 17-25
Southern Door will host Roncalli in the first round of the WIAA postseason on Tuesday night. The Eagles are a four seed.
