Local cross country teams will be running in Manitowoc Saturday in the WIAA Division 3 Sectional. There are actually two divisions running at the same location. Division 1 gets precedence running first. The girls Division 1 race begins at 11 AM and should be wrapped up in about a half hour. Girls D3 is scheduled to start at 11:30 AM. In the afternoon, the boys run with Division 3 again being the second race starting at 12:45 PM.
Last week, the Packerland Conference held its Championship Meet. Peshtigo and Kewaunee tied for first with Southern Door a very close third. Kewaunee won the girls meet with Sturgeon Bay second.
