Wisconsin usually wins the battle of the run games but that was not the case on Saturday at Ohio State. In a showdown of top-15 teams, the Buckeyes ran for 264 against the Badgers while Wisconsin could only manage 83. Jonathan Taylor was held to 20 carries and 52 yards. Ohio State won 38-7.
It was close in the second half. Ohio State led 10-0 at the half and Wisconsin held the Buckeyes to a three-and-out. The Badgers blocked a punt and on the ensuing drive Jack Coan threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Taylor to make it 10-7.
It was all Buckeyes after that as they scored touchdowns on their next four possessions.
This is now two road straight losses for the Badgers after they were upset by Illinois last week 24-23. They'll have a bye next week before hosting #20 Iowa on Saturday, November 9th.
