Sturgeon Bay soccer is looking to make its third straight trip down to Milwaukee when they play Oostburg for a sectional championship on Saturday. The game features the top two teams in the region. Sturgeon Bay has been dominant in the playoffs so far outscoring Howards Grove, Omro and Lourdes/Valley Christian by a combined score of 22-2. The Clippers are coming off an 8-2 win at home over Lourdes/Valley Christian.
Oostburg has not lost a game this season and has one tie. The Flying Dutchmen beat Kohler in the sectional semi-final on Thursday 4-1. Oostburg had one close call in the playoffs. They needed overtime in the regional final to beat 9-seed Saint Lawrence Seminary 1-0.
