Giannis Antetokounmpo posted his seventh double-double in the Milwaukee Bucks' 134-106 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves Monday night.
The reigning MVP scored 34 points while grabbing 15 rebounds after both teams had to wait for close to an hour for the game to start due to crooked baskets. The Bucks were able to stretch their seven-point halftime lead after the break, outscoring the Timberwolves by 21 points in the final two quarters. Khris Middleton (26) and Eric Bledsoe also scored over 20 points in the contest. The Timberwolves were without Karl-Anthony Towns after he got into a fight last week in Philadelphia. Andrew Wiggins scored a team-high 25 points for the Timberwolves in the loss.
The Bucks return to action on Wednesday when they face the Clippers in Los Angeles for a 9 p.m. start.
