Students and staff at Luxemburg-Casco School District will not have to worry about cutting class to make it to the Resch Center on Friday.

In a message written by superintendent Glenn Schlender, classes will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. so students and staff wishing to attend the state semifinal match against Wisconsin Lutheran on Friday, slated to begin at 2 p.m. Schlender cited the high number of staff members affiliated with the team as well as the school's proximity to the Resch Center, located about a half-hour away in Ashwaubenon, as reasons for the early dismissal.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the high school office Tuesday through Friday morning at 10 a.m. with the extra incentive of $1,000 going to the school that sells the most before the doors open at the Resch Center. The matches will also be broadcast on 96.7 WBDK beginning with the pregame show approximately a half-hour before the scheduled first serve.
