The road to an NCAA Tournament bid begins Wednesday for both Green Bay Phoenix basketball teams.
The men's team will face Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana in a homecoming game of sorts for Phoenix head coach Linc Darner. The fifth-year head coach played at Purdue for four years and finished his time as a Boilermaker as a student assistant. The Phoenix are looking to build on last year's CIT runner-up performance.
The women's team hope to get back to the top of the Horizon League after missing out on its first title of any kind in 20 years. Its first contest of the year will be at Central Michigan University.
Both games begin at 6 p.m.
