There were plenty of local ties during the announcement of MONLPC-8 Football All-Conference teams earlier this week.

Players from Gibraltar and Sevastopol earned a combined 17 nods to the team's honoring the best of the best. Gibraltar's Alex Laughlin earned four such spots, earning first-team offense designation as an end, second-team offense honors as a kicker, and second-team defense recognition as a linebacker and punter. Arthur Horcevar led the way for Sevastopol with three spots, earning first-team defense honors as a punter and second-team recognition for his work on the offensive and defensive lines.
