With seasons in the rearview mirror, area schools are honoring their achievements in the coming days with fall sports banquets and award ceremonies.

One example is Gibraltar, which will hold a special recognition event on Wednesday morning. Under the direction of Adviser Ashley Knudson, members Varsity Letter Club sort out certificates and organize the pins, numerals, and letters ready for the deserving athletes. Similar events are held at each school at the conclusion of a given season.
