It is almost time for local wrestling teams to get on the mats after the offseason tournament season concluded in Wisconsin. Practices can officially begin next Monday while meets and tournaments get underway in early September. 

Kewaunee cracks the season open the earliest, facing Green Bay United (East, West, and Southwest) for a dual on December 3rd before traveling to a tournament on December 6th at Kimberly, which also will feature Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol. Luxemburg-Casco will start a new streak of appearances at team state beginning with a busy opening weekend, facing Denmark on December 5th before hosting Bay Port, Green Bay Preble, Oshkosh West, Port Washington, and Sheboygan Falls on December 7th. Southern Door will face Barron Area Schools, DC Everest,
host Stratford, Wautoma, and Wild Rose on December 7th.
