The Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team was able to overcome a tough first half to blow past McNeese State 83-63 at the Kohl Center Wednesday.
The visiting Cowboys actually held a small lead over the Badgers for much of the first half, only to see their host take a three-point advantage into the break. The Badgers would make their move midway in the second half, going on a 15-3 run the Cowboys could not answer. Four Badgers players scored in double figures, led by 24 points by Brad Davison.
In other state Division 1 basketball, Marquette outscored Purdue 40-17 in the second half to earn a 65-55 victory in Milwaukee.
