The University of Wisconsin - Green Bay's women's basketball program hosts a member of the Southeastern Conference Saturday afternoon at the Kress Center. The Missouri Tigers were 24-11 last year, results to go with the pedigree that comes from being an SEC member. The Tigers are the most impressive road opponent Wisconsin- Green Bay will see this season.
Missouri is off to a slow start at 1-2. They were upset by Northern Iowa in their last game. The first three Mizzou contests all went to overtime. This will be the Tigers first road game of the season, something UWGB can exploit possibly.
Green Bay is known for their defensive prowess most years but that has not been the case in 2019-2020. Central dropped 105 points on the Phoenix in the first game. South Dakota State scored 66. In Saturday's matchup, Green Bay will need to ratchet up the intensity in front of their hoop. If they can keep Missouri around 52 points, last year's scoring average, an upset is likely.
