Phoenix cruise past Mizzou

The Green Bay Phoenix responded from home opener loss a week ago with a 72-64 win over visiting Missouri Saturday afternoon.

It was a wire to wire win for the Phoenix, despite giving up 30 of the Tigers' 64 points in the final frame. Caitlyn Hibner scored a career-high 20 points in the game, one year removed from having Tommy John surgery cancel her 2018-2019 season.  Frankie Wurtz, Madison Wolf, and Lyndsey Robson all added point-totals in the double figures in the contest that featured on the second SEC team in Kress Events Center to step on the court the face the Phoenix.

The Phoenix are back in action Tuesday night at home against Marquette.
