Bucks win shootout against Hawks

Defense was optional in the Milwaukee Bucks' 135-127 road win over the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night.

Both teams shot over 45 percent from the field with the Bucks shooting an even better 52 percent on the night. Giannis Antetokounmpo continued his hot scoring streak, once again eclipsing the 30 point plateau with 33 while collected 11 rebounds along the way. Eric Bledsoe added 28 points as all five starters scored in double figures. A close game at halftime, the Bucks once again had a big third quarter to provide some distance between them and the Hawks, outscoring the home team 38-22. De'Andre Hunter led the Hawks in scoring on the night, registering 27 points in the loss. The Bucks return home Thursday night to face Portland.
