Local volleyball players sign NLI's

Two local volleyball players will continue to play the sport they love at the next level.

Sturgeon Bay volleyball standout Hailey DeGrave made it official Thursday when she signed her National Letter of Intent to play at Lakeland University. DeGrave is coming off a senior season where she earned second-team All-Packerland Conference honors as an all-around player. There is still plenty to go in DeGrave's high school career, who has competed in basketball and track in the past.

Heading a little further from home is Algoma senior setter Jacklyn Dean, who will play next year at Iowa Lakes Community College. Dean is coming off her third straight all-conference season and finished her high school career with over 1,400 assists.
