Xavier dominates Gibraltar girls basketball

The Gibraltar High School girls basketball team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday afternoon against a resurgent Xavier squad out of Appleton. 


Xavier Athletic Director Kathy Bates received the State Award of Merit this past week for her efforts at the school and the girls basketball team has responded with two dominating performances. They beat Lourdes by 28 points before their 69-42 victory over Gibraltar.


The Vikings are 1-1 on the season. Their next game begins Packerland Conference play on Tuesday, December 3rd at Algoma.
