After splitting a pair of games against the Big Ten, Marquette men's basketball team expected to cruise against 1-6 Robert Morris University out of Pittsburgh. Saturday's game was anything but a cake walk. It was 20-19 at halftime in favor of the Colonials. The game featured 11 lead changes but Marquette was out front for most of the second half. At one point, they were up by 10. A three from Dante Treacy got Robert Morris within a basket with 30 seconds left but the Colonials couldn't complete the upset.
The Golden Eagles were 24 point favorites according to the Vegas line. Their leading scorer was Sacar Anim with 14 points.
