Packers rid hangover in Sunday win

The Green Bay Packers were able to get the taste of their loss to the San Francisco 49ers with a 31-13 win over the New York Giants Sunday afternoon.

The Packers defense which had struggled to cause turnovers in recent weeks forced rookie quarterback Daniel Jones into three interceptions. Aaron Rodgers was able to match his yardage total from last week by the opening moments of the second quarter while finding Davante Adams and Allen Lazard for first-quarter touchdowns. The Giants were threatening heading into the fourth quarter with the Packers holding just a 17-13 lead. Rodgers was able to put the game out of reach with a pair of touchdown passes to Adams and Marcedes Lewis to finish the day with four scores and 243 yards passing.

The Packers are back in action next Sunday afternoon when they host the Washington Redskins.
