Boys' basketball preview: L-C in action

Luxemburg-Casco's boys' basketball team opens its season Monday night when its hosts its first of four straight home game against Green Bay East.

The Spartans will look to improve under head coach Tyler Thrune after going 10-13 last season and seeing it end in a tough overtime loss in WIAA Regional action against Green Bay West. It will have to do so with almost a completely new roster as well with eight of last year's 14 players graduating. The Spartans do return with its second-leading scorer from last year in Ryan Robillard (16.1 ppg), who was also second on the team in rebounds and assists as a sophomore.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
