Girls' basketball round-up: Sturgeon Bay, L-C struggle

There is still plenty of time to get the offense right after Luxemburg-Casco and Sturgeon Bay struggled to get points on the board in their losses Monday night.


Menominee (MI) hit the ground running when it got to Sturgeon Bay, winning its game 79-23.


Luxemburg-Casco could not crack double digits in either of its two halves of action it lost to Notre Dame Academy 85-14. Taylor Thiry led the team with five points in the loss.


Girls' basketball action Tuesday night is a Packerland Conference affair with Gibraltar traveling to Algoma, the Clippers playing at home against Kewaunee, Sevastopol hosting Oconto, and Southern Door battling NEW Lutheran. All of Tuesday's games begin at 7:30 p.m.
