More offense, same result for Sevastopol girls

After putting up just 18 points in their opening game, the Sevastopol High School girls basketball team notched a respectable 36 at home against Oconto Tuesday night. Unfortunately, the result was the same in both games as the Blue Devils edged the Pioneers, 43-36. Oconto shot a scorching 19-32 from the field led by Hannah Moe with 13 points as Jenna Hornblad tallied 19.

Oconto improves to 1-0 in Packerland Conference play with Sevastopol sitting at 0-1. The Pioneers next game is on the road at Peshtigo on Friday. The Pioneers wrap up the 2019 portion of their schedule with three games in five days beginning on December 12th.
