Wrestling round-up: L-C falls at home

Luxemburg-Casco dropped its Northeastern Conference wrestling opener Thursday night, falling to Denmark 37-27.

 

The Vikings rallied from dropping 3 of its four matches to take four straight matches, including two pins, to force the Spartans to climb up hill the rest of the meet. Collecting falls for the Spartans include Lucas Joniaux (138), Reece Worachek (195) and Easton Worachek (106).

All area teams will be in action tomorrow as Luxemburg-Casco hosts three other teams for dual meets beginning at 9 a.m., Southern Door does the same at Stratford for their first action of the season, and Kewaunee will join Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol in Kimberly for an 8 a.m. invitational.
