The Southern Door High School boys basketball team soared Tuesday night against previously undefeated Oconto. The Eagles gave the Blue Devils their first loss of the season, 77-64. Southern Door improved to 2-1 on the season while remaining unbeaten in Packerland Conference play. So far, Southern Door is winning their conference games by an average of 20 points.
The Eagles are back on the court Friday when they travel to Peshtigo. The Bulldogs are 1-1 without a conference game so far in 2019-20. They defeated Marinette by 27 before losing by two in a tight road game against Northland Pines. Peshtigo is averaging 76 points per game while Southern Door has yet to give up 70 points in a contest so far.
