Anna Dier from Algoma was hurt in Friday’s University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women’s basketball game at Maine. She has a history of knee problems, at the high school and college level, and had to leave the game at the end of the third quarter. UWGB has already lost two players for the season and was without a couple of others in Friday’s contest. The Phoenix fell to Maine 61-60 on a last-second shot from the baseline.
