The Milwaukee Bucks came up just short in its bid for a 20th straight win, falling to the Dallas Mavericks 120-116.
The game went back and forth between the two teams with the Mavericks outscoring the Bucks in the first and third quarters while Milwaukee took its turn in the second and fourth quarters. Giannis Antetokounmpo tried to will his team to victory, scoring 48 points while grabbing 14 rebounds. The Bucks bench provided the next highest contributors with Ersan Illyasova, George Hill, and Kyle Korver all reaching double figures in the loss. Seth Curry and Kristaps Porzi??is each scored 26 points in the game for the Mavericks, which were playing without their top player Luka Doncic due to injuries.
