The Luxemburg-Casco High School boys basketball team never let Clintonville get out of first gear on Tuesday night. The Spartans topped the Truckers 71-38. Logan Doell led the Spartans with 27 points, 18 of those coming in the first half. Clintonville, as a team, managed 12 points in the opening frame. The Spartans supporting cast, while not as prolific as Doell on the score chart, certainly chipped in when defending their basket. The Truckers’ lowest point total of the season before Tuesday was 57. It was a stifling Spartan effort.
L-C’s next game is Friday at Oconto Falls.
