High school sports fans will have to wait a few days before seeing their favorite athletes take to the court and mat this week.

A wintry weather system forced school officials to cancel Algoma's boys basketball game Monday night, leaving Friday as the next day where athletes will compete. Friday's slate includes five girls basketball and six boys basketball games. Two basketball games and three wrestling invitationals will be featured on Saturday.
