Even in a bye week, the Green Bay Packers are offering their fans some good news.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced Thursday its list of 15 finalists, which includes former Packers safety LeRoy Butler. He played for the Packers from 1990-2001, during which he led the defense to three NFC title games and one Super Bowl win. A four-time All-Pro safety and a member of the All-90s team, Butler is also best known for his role in the invention of the Lambeau Leap. Butler will find out his fate February 1st, which is the day before the Super Bowl.
