College basketball in the state of Wisconsin has entered its next phase with conference games hitting their stride this weekend.
Close to home, the Green Bay Phoenix men come back home after a brief two-game road trip to welcome Illinois-Chicago. The Phoenix rocked Northern Kentucky in its last game 73-59 while the Flames come to Green Bay after a 70-64 win against Youngstown State. Tip off is at 7 p.m. with the Phoenix's next opponent, IUPUI doing the same at Milwaukee.
Wisconsin faces a tough test in its Friday night match-up as they play fifth-ranked Ohio State at 6 p.m. in Columbus. The Badgers are coming off a three-game winning streak as they finished their non-conference slate after splitting their first two Big Ten games. The Buckeyes have split their last four games, including losses against Minnesota and 16th ranked West Virginia.
Marquette hosts 10th ranked Villanova tomorrow at 1 p.m.
