Down goes number five Ohio State! The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team recorded the huge upset in Columbus on Friday night, 61-57. It wasn’t always pretty, especially at the beginning of each half. Wisconsin failed to score in its initial ten possessions of the first half and the seven possessions to start the second half. The Badgers battled to a 29-25 halftime lead and at the end of the game forward Nate Reuvers took over. He had seven points in the final 3:30 to finish off a classic Big Ten slugfest at Value City Arena.
Wisconsin is now 9-5 on the season and they have picked up impressive wins in two of their last three games against Tennessee and the Buckeyes. They are home against Illinois on Wednesday.
