Sevastopol boys offense explodes against Algoma

The Sevastopol High School boys basketball team got its second win of the season Tuesday, breezing past Algoma 87-59. Robby Pollman is 20 points closer to 1,000 for his career. He needs just under 40 to hit the mark and should eclipse the milestone by next week. Arthur Hocevar led the team with 21 for the game. Algoma found 24 from Carter Zimmerman and another 14 points from Trevor Nell but they could not keep pace with the Pioneer offense. Algoma is still looking for its first victory.

Sevastopol’s next game is Thursday against NE Wisconsin Christian Home School, a great opportunity to put together the year’s first winning streak. Algoma visits Southern Door Saturday.
