The Kewaunee High School boys basketball team became the first Packerland team to get to five conference wins in 2019-2020. The Storm are the only squad with an unblemished record in conference, beating Oconto 70-48 on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell to 3-3. Kewaunee’s next game is against Peshtigo who squeaked by Gibraltar Tuesday night. Kewaunee has proven itself as one of the conference’s best but Peshtigo remains an unknown commodity. The Bulldogs are 5-2 overall but don’t yet have a signature victory. Their conference wins have been against Sevastopol, Algoma, and Gibraltar who sport a combined 1-14 mark in the Packerland. Saturday afternoon’s matchup is definitely an intriguing one.
