The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team erased an early 15 point deficit en route to a 73-69 win over Oakland.

It was 19-4 in the opening minutes of the game, but the Phoenix used a 21-6 run to close the gap and be down only 38-35 at the break. The Phoenix locked down on defense in the second half and held the Golden Grizzlies to 32 percent shooting the rest of the way. Three Phoenix players scored in double-figures, including 22 points from freshman phenom Amari Davis. 

The Phoenix men return to action Saturday with a noon game against Detroit while the Phoenix women play tonight against IUPUI.
