There was widespread participation by Southern Door Eagles youth wrestlers this past weekend.  At Saturday’s Oconto Youth Tournament, Flynn Jeanquart brought home 1st Place, while his brother Payton finished 2nd.

Sunday saw participation at several venues.  At the Oshkosh Mat Rats 35th Annual Youth Tournament, Alex Buhr registered 3 pins to notch a 1st Place, along with brothers Braden and Brennan Baun finishing 3rd and 4th respectively.  Another set of brothers, Colton and Jerek
Valley both finished 4th at Peshtigo.

Also on Sunday, our youth wrestlers (K-5) were invited to take part in the Freedom Youth Invitational.  Being invited to this event is a statement of recognition of our wrestling program, and it is an honor to participate.  Seventeen wrestlers competed.  There are no awards and individual results are not recognized.  The focus is on good competition and representing your school.  Thank you to Freedom Wrestling for including us in this special event!
