On Tuesday, our middle school team competed in a Match by Skill meet (wrestlers are matched by grade, weight and ability) at Hemlock Elementary School in West DePere. The schools involved were West DePere, Bay View (Bay Port), Luxemburg-Casco and Southern Door. We knew the level of competition was going to be high, and boy it sure was. For team standings we were right at 50% in the win/loss column. As a coach this is where I expect our team to be with equal ability in every match. This team continues to impress with their hard work, conditioning, learning ability, sportsmanship and show of improvement with each match wrestled.

Now approaching the mid-way point of the season we have another tough tournament ?this Saturday? at Bay Port followed by our annual Southern Door Youth Tournament on Sunday.
