Boys' basketball round-up: Gibraltar tops Oneida Nation

The Gibraltar Vikings pulled away in the second half to beat Oneida Nation 69-57.


Up by only four points at the break, the Vikings outscored the Eagles 36-28 in the second half to secure their fourth win of the season. Three Vikings players scored in double figures for the Vikings, led by Luke Steebs with 14 points. The Vikings hit eight three-pointers in the game with Marcus Reinhardt drilling four of them.


The rest of the area's boys' basketball games will take place Tuesday night with Luxemburg-Casco traveling to Marinette for a 7:15 p.m. tip, Sevastopol hitting the road to Peshtigo, Kewaunee hosting Algoma, Southern Door playing at Oconto, and Sturgeon Bay battling NEW Lutheran in Green Bay. Packerland Conference games begin at 7:30 p.m. The Vikings will play its second game in as many days when it travels to St. Mary's Springs for a 7:15 p.m. tip.
