The Gibraltar Vikings doubled up their southern neighbors in Sturgeon Bay 52-24 in the other local girls' basketball game to take place Thursday night.

The Vikings had three players reach double figures in the win with Abbi Sitte and Sage Krause each scoring 12 points and Maggie Moroney adding another 11 points. Sarah Bridenhagen scored 10 points for the Clippers in the loss.

Both teams are back in action Friday night as the Vikings pay Kewaunee a visit and the Clippers travel to Oconto for 7:30 tip-offs. Southern Door will play at Peshtigo beginning at 7:00 p.m. and Algoma will battle NEW Lutheran in Green Bay at 7:30 p.m.
