Matches for the area's JV wrestlers are hard to come by, making Saturday's tournament at Green Bay Preble very important members of teams at Kewaunee, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol.
Kewaunee's Ayden Stangel and Jack Paulsen took sixth on the day, improving in their five matches on the day.
Austin Farley was the top place winner for Southern Door with a 3rd place finish. Farley, Ben Slezewski, Katelyn LeCloux, and Cody Nellis each picked up a win on the day while Dylan Wessel was able to pick up a pair of victories.
The area's top-performing team was Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol, which saw Sam Abel win his bracket while Kellen Hacht, Wyatt Coburn and Ben Roman took second. Abel, Hacht, Coburn, and Austin Marquardt all had at least two wins on the day. It was Abel with the most impressive day, registering pins in all five of his matches.
