Don’t call it East versus West…although for all intents and purposes that is what you’ll see Sunday in the NBA All-Star Game. Instead, it is packaged as Team LeBron versus Team Giannis, named after the respective captains of each squad. Team Giannis will feature Antetokounmpo, the 76ers’ Joel Embiid, and Pascal Siakam from the Toronto Raptors in the frontcourt. Rounding out the starting five are Boston’s Kemba Walker and Atlanta’s Trae Young. Even with the Bucks at 44-8, only two players made it into the mid-season showcase. Khris Middleton is a reserve player for Team Giannis.
Team LeBron is stout featuring the best in the west. Lebron is flanked by Anthony Davis and Luka Doncic with James Harden and Kawhi Leonard the other starters. The game is being played in Chicago this year with tip-off set for 7 PM Sunday.
