Sturgeon Bay boys' basketball battles Southern Door

It is the first of two games in three days for Sturgeon Bay and Southern Door as the pair prepares for battle Thursday night in Brussels. The game is a make-up from a contest originally scheduled for Tuesday before a winter storm wiped out much of the action across northeast Wisconsin.

The game will feature two of the conference's top scorers with Gunnar Tebon leading the Packerland Conference with 22.6 points per game and Ryan Claflin just a fraction behind, averaging 22.4 points per game. The Clippers are also a half-game ahead of the Eagles in the Packerland Conference standings, but it is the Eagles coming in as the hotter squad. The Eagles are riding a four-game winning streak while the Clippers snapped a three-game losing streak last week with a win over Sevastopol.

Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
