Luxemburg-Casco boys can't tame Wrightstown

The Luxemburg-Casco High School boys' basketball team kept it close Friday night, but couldn't get over the hump against Wrightstown. The Spartans fell, 74-67, on the road against the Tigers. It harkens to the beginning of the campaign when L-C was on the wrong end of several close games. The Spartans took a tough, close loss to Denmark this week in addition to the last night's defeat.

Wrightstown leads the NEC by a game over Freedom. The Spartans have played both teams tough which could bode well for them come tournament time. The upset-minded Spartans will know they can hang with the best competition.
