Kewaunee girls prepare for first WIAA Playoff game

The road to Green Bay finally begins for the Kewaunee girls basketball team Friday night when they host Denmark Friday night.

The Storm enters the game 21-1 on the season and on a 16 game winning streak. The Vikings were the first matchup of the season for the Storm, beating them on the road 60-46. Denmark outscored Two Rivers by 15 in the first half in its 56-41 victory on Tuesday to advance to the second round. The winner of the game will advance to Friday's regional final against either Kewaskum or Brillion. A Storm win would ensure one more home game for the Storm. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
