Gibraltar looks for regional final berth on 105.1 WSBW

The Gibraltar girls basketball team looks to extend their season at least one more night when it faces Gillett on 105.1 WSBW Friday night.

The Vikings clinched their trip to Gillett with a 58-38 victory over Suring Tuesday night. The Tigers earned their second straight home playoff game in Division 5 action with a 65-41 win over Wausaukee. The Vikings lost their previous matchup against the Tigers 63-43, thanks in part to the double scoring threat of Aubrey DeBauch and Karissa Schaal. That game was months ago and at the tail end of Abbi Sitte's time out of the line-up due to injury. Gibraltar head coach Devin Thomas says the Vikings team he saw on film from that night is not the same one sitting on his bench now.

Tim Kowols and Bryan Mazur will have the call beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening tip at 7 p.m. on 105.1 The Viking. The game is also available online at DoorKewauneeHighSchoolSports.com, DoorCountyDailyNews.com, and the DoorCountyDailyNews.com mobile app.
