Sevastopol boys rallies in second half for win

At halftime, it looked like the Algoma High School boys’ basketball team might pick up its first conference win of the season. Sevastopol’s Robbie Pollman and Brent Haberli had something to say about that idea, fueling an explosive Pioneer rally. Sevastopol turned a deficit into a 75-64 victory. It was the Pioneers’ second win in as many nights, good momentum heading into the state tournament Tuesday night.

Sevastopol ends the regular season at 7-14. They visit Howards Grove, 11-11 overall from the Big East-North. Algoma is 2-20 overall and will be traveling to Cedar Grove-Belgium.
