Culver's Student-Athlete of the Week: Gibraltar's Dominic Krauel

It is all about doing the hard work that precedes success for Gibraltar’s Dominic Krauel. That’s why Vikings head coach Justin Burress nominated the senior for the Culver’s Student-Athlete of the Week award, who is making the most of his opportunity after playing junior varsity in past years. A solid contributor for the team’s football and baseball teams as well, Krauel is also an accomplished percussionist. His ensemble recently received a top ranking at the Solo and Ensemble Contest held earlier this month at Southern Door, securing an appearance at the state festival this spring. Krauel is hopeful his basketball team will have similar success when the playoffs begin next week.

Krauel is averaging just over seven points a game for the Vikings, which begin their playoff quest in Division 5 next Tuesday in Fish Creek against Bowler.
