Gibraltar shoots past Bowler on 105.1 WSBW

Three players scored at least 20 points for the Gibraltar Vikings as they won their first-round matchup against the Bowler Panthers 97-67.

In the first half, Dominic Krauel and Luke Steebs were able to use their size and speed to eleven baskets from within five feet of the hoop. Sam Lindenberg came on late in the first half to stretch the Panthers' defense and the lead by sinking four of six three-pointers to give the Vikings a nine-point lead at the break. Krauel opened up the second half scoring the first nine points to take the rout to another level. Steebs led all scorers with 30 points while Krauel added 27 points and Lindenberg chipped in 24 points. The Panthers were led in scoring by Zach Fehrmann's 21 points.

The Vikings will return their home court on Friday night when they host Suring, which beat St. Thomas Aquinas 61-38. Tim Kowols and Bryan Mazur will have the call on 105.1 WSBW beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening tip at 7 p.m.
