Algoma and Sevastopol boys fail to advance in state tournament

The Algoma High School boys’ basketball team ended their campaign with a loss at Cedar Grove-Belgium Tuesday night in the opening round of the postseason tournament. The Wolves fell, 86-47, and had only one scorer reach double figures. Carter Zimmerman’s 13 points were not enough to offset the scoring depth of Cedar Grove-Belgium.

Algoma wraps up their season at 2-21 overall. They failed to win a contest in conference play.

Sevastopol lost a close road game against Howards Grove, 55-48.
