Just like in the high school ranks, area alumni are in postseason mode in their respective sports.

In track, Algoma Alumni Morgan Davister and Alli Spitzer earn All-Conference honors as members of the Carroll University track team. Davister finished sixth in shot put with a throw of 40 feet. 4.75 inches. Spitzer placed in two events at last weekend's College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin Indoor Championships, taking fifth in the mile with a time of 5:14.91 and eighth in the 800 with a time of 2:22.93.

After a two week layoff, former Luxemburg-Casco state champion wrestler Phil Rasmussen will have his second go-round at the NAIA National Tournament this weekend in Wichita, Kansas. Rasmussen was named last week to the 2020 all-Great Plains Athletic Conference first team.
